Last year I bought myself a pair of Joie wedge booties. This year it’s apparent that I need to incorporate a chunky heel version into my wardrobe — perfect to transition my summer maxis to fall, and pair with skinnies into winter and next spring. Some of my fave looks of the season…

I love to see my fave bloggers in their posts — but I cringe at the thought of putting myself in my posts. And then I thought that as a mom, I can say, “Hey, you know what, I don’t have time to shop for myself, and most often I feel completely disheveled, but here’s a real life look I’m gonna rock for Spring!” So there you have it, my internal thought process that gave me the courage to do the following…




Laughing because the whole experience feels ridiculous! Many thanks to my photog/wonderful husband who did laugh at me a few times as well, but loves me anyway.

I guess I must have vacay on the membrane, sitting here in rainy cold weather and wishing I was back in Palm Desert. Looking at photos of Kelly Wearstler’s Viceroy Miami doesn’t exactly help; makes me want to pack up my bags and get out there pronto! I’m definitely missing being somewhere hip and dressing like I’m hip.
