PROFILE: who’s behind the curtain?
Erika Brechtel, brand stylist
She loves good conversation, good food, good wine, but most of all, good design: it’s what makes this little lady tick. Her passion and talent for helping clients convey what makes their businesses tick has brought her word-of-mouth success and publicized recognition since 2002.

After years of studio art training and receiving an Art History B.A. magna cum laude from UCLA, Erika went on to study Interior Design at FIDM, and worked several years in that industry before deciding to make the jump to graphic design. Using her training in these studies, she continually draws from this vast visual library of past tried-and-true references and current trends to bring an enduring, unique, relevant and fresh look to each piece and identity she develops.
Since going out on her own nine years ago, she has gotten married, moved to New York and back to Santa Monica before settling in Orange County, co-founded Wardrobe Stationery, given birth to a sassy little girl, and hasn’t slowed down for a second! But you’ll find that Erika is most in her element when she can connect with like-minded collaborators, whether they are a visionary client or a savvy pal that shares her passion.
While she prides herself in being able to “nail it,” she doesn’t rest until she hears, “This is exactly what I was looking for, and didn’t know it!” That lucky girl, she loves good clients too.
