I haven’t done an “E List” in quite a while, but what better reason than upcoming Mother’s Day? You know me though, my version is gonna be about putting the sexy in this mama’s day, both in her home and closet, with 10 ideas to take it to the next level…
Apologies for my absence! Big deadlines and still catching up from my daughter’s illness. It’s been awhile since I’ve done The E List, so I’m back today with a few gift ideas that made my list this year…
We’ve been talking about it for months, and it’s finally here! TOMORROW, the designer collaboration between Neiman Marcus and Target launches in store and online, just in time for the holidays! In addition to donating $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in support of the American fashion design community, the two companies have recruited 24 CFDA designers to create limited-edition gift items, with most priced under $60. We’re talking real leather and silk, hand beading, hand-blown glass and 18K gold. Some of my faves:

I haven’t forgotten the fox buckle worn by Claiborne Swanson Frank in that Vogue feature earlier this year. Seems like our favorite retailers have caught on: Tory Burch, Burberry, Zara and French Connection all have their own incarnations of our foxy friend…
I feel so fortunate to have met actress Autumn Reeser at an event earlier this year. Come to find out, she’s also a mom, a blogger, and a woman that like us, is really striving for that work + life balance. We’ve kept in touch since, but during our recent iChat (she is in Hawaii filming her new show “The Last Resort”*) it really solidified for me that she is smart, savvy, and has real-life depth to her. That depth is the reason she got together with friends Jenn Wong and Ashley Fauset, and started Move LifeStyle.
Celebrating tonight at our favorite wine bar, with a magnum of 1999 Chateau Montelena cab (thanks Dad!) shared with good friends. In the meantime, I’ll be obsessing over these picks…

The main reason I was so excited to go to the #LuckyFABB conference is because I really wanted to learn more about social media and SEO for myself and my clients. Of course I was thrilled to have the chance to mingle with editors and other bloggers, but I honestly felt like I was there as an ambassador for my clients — how can I provide them with an edge over the competition? With this thought, I wanted to share a bit with you too, for those interested! I furiously typed away during these two presentations…such great info!
