MY MODERN GLAM TABLE
Get the Look with Stone Textile

small shop for stone textile, modern glam table setting

If you are a regular reader, I don’t need to tell you that I live/breathe/decorate by a #1 rule: WWKWD…as in, What Would Kelly Wearstler Do?” So you know I had some fun putting together my ideal Mother’s Day brunch setting using placemats from Stone Textile with this in mind. Add in my grandmother’s gold-rimmed china with budget-friendly finds, throw in some color with supermarket flowers, and voilà, we’ve got ourselves a KW-inspired “modern glam” tabletop…

HIDDEN GEM
Elizabeth Spencer Winery

Just returned from a whirlwind trip to Napa Valley with my daughter, and wanted to be sure to share a fave spot of mine I’m so happy I got to visit again in my brief time there. I’ve mentioned before that my dad works in the wine industry, so I’m very fortunate that he introduces me to new and perhaps lesser known wineries every time I come up. Elizabeth Spencer may be small in size, but believe me, big in flavor and ambiance! The unassuming brick facade across from Rutherford Grill hides an intimate, vineyard-side outdoor courtyard that you’ll never want to leave. I highly recommend you make a reservation the next time you’re in town…

NEIMAN MARCUS
+ Target, Tomorrow!

We’ve been talking about it for months, and it’s finally here! TOMORROW, the designer collaboration between Neiman Marcus and Target launches in store and online, just in time for the holidays! In addition to donating $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in support of the American fashion design community, the two companies have recruited 24 CFDA designers to create limited-edition gift items, with most priced under $60. We’re talking real leather and silk, hand beading, hand-blown glass and 18K gold. Some of my faves:

NAPA VALLEY
My Do’s & Don’ts

I’m off up to my parents’ house in Napa, and couldn’t be happier for the break! We don’t get up there often enough, but when we do, my dad (who works in the wine industry) always makes sure we have a good time. A few simple things I’ve learned through the years that I thought I’d share…

PHOTOS
Retro Citrus Bridal Shower

The final product!

So you’ve been seeing me blog and Instagram about this shower for my sis-in-law forever, I know! But I got the pics that photographer Melissa Stewardson captured so beautifully, and had to share!

First let me say it is downright difficult to find party supplies aren’t too pastel (= baby) or too bright (= birthday). Sheesh. I had such a tough time sticking to my original color scheme, but I think we were able to pull it off all the same…
