Please welcome Desiré of sukio!
You are in for a major treat. Desiré’s outrageously gorgeous interiors blog, sukio, was one of my very first and favorite reads, and to this day never fails to satisfy my need for the glam. I’m hooked! So thrilled to have her here today to give you a little taste. You’ll be addicted too…
I was absolutely floored upon viewing Alexander Wang’s first collection as creative director of Balenciaga! While other fashion houses opt for expansive and elaborate runways (that means you, Louis Vuitton and Chanel), Wang chose a more intimate setting – Balenciaga’s historic salon on the Avenue George V. The space was completely renovated to match the colors and textures of his clothes, with plenty of mirrors to catch every angle. From the black and white contrast to the chrome benches, I love it all!

Beautiful, simply beautiful! Thank you for the introduction, another fabulous blog to add to my list.
Gorg! I love when designers push boundaries and think outside the box. How much more of an impact did Balenciaga’s show have because of this setting?! Sukio’s interpretation is just as inspiring. Thanks for the new read!
Wow!!! I think Sukio and I will definitely get along. Thanks for the intro. I was really excited to see Alexander Wang’s Balenciaga collection. The runway was so cool and I am obsessed with the shoes. Love that chair and the marble books! xo
