One thing I really enjoy about getting away for a few days is the opportunity to catch up on some “flipping” (a.k.a. magazines). No surprise, I had to stop in my tracks and pour through designer Athena Calderone’s Brooklyn Dumbo loft at the back of the latest Harper’s Bazaar. Between the rich woods, sleek concrete and glass, contemporary art, furs/animal hides/horns, and lots of shiny brass touches, I’m in my own personal “5 Pieces” heaven…

This apartment is amazing. Besides the stunning windows and beautiful staircase, my favorite thing in her apartment is that beautiful painting she has hanging behind the couch in the living room. That is right up my alley!
