It goes without saying that a luxury bag would be amazing to own. But since I have to live in the real world, I would gladly accept something like the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag (especially when taking into account all the gift cards I got for Christmas…hmmmm).

I love those pictures! A black bag is the ultimate versatile piece. I swear, i have a pretty similar one that I got from Urban Outfitters a few years back, and it’s held up really well. They have some pretty good bags there sometimes. I got a new Kate Spade for Christmas, pretty happy about that!

Love love love the Alexander Wang bag! But if you want something that is a bit more versatile and less trendy, I say go for the Marc Jacobs.
I am still lusting after the black Balenciaga arena classic.

I tried to buy that Alexander Wang bag in brown last year and it just sold out too quickly…. I might have to jump on the black one!
I do have to agree that for an everyday bag the MbM one would be good – plus they use good leather that ages well and lasts a long time (I’ve been to the tannery in Italy!!).

i think each of the bags above are great. i’m not really a bag person, but i’ve also been wanting something new lately. i’ve been carrying around the same one for ages. i love the alexander wang…it seems to be everywhere just taunting me!

i just got a new bag for this season! well i got it on sale at NOrdie’s last season, but waited. it’s a super cute Halston Heritage bag that I got for peanuts, but my only issue is that I can’t find ANYTHING in it, because it’s a bucket. Learned from that one :/

You and me both! I almost asked for one for Christmas but since I didn’t, I’m thinking of asking for “donations” towards one for my birthday this month. I’ve been eyeing the Mulberry, the Alexander Wang, but have also been loving the 3.1 Philip Lim satchel. Doesn’t have the strap but is the closest to a Birkin I’ll probably ever get. ooh, I got the best Jack Russell black satchel that I wear over my arm every day. I found it in a Marshall’s! Still a couple hundred bucks, but anything that has Paris stamped on it in gold, has little Jack Russell terriers on the inside and goyard-style striping, and is big enough to carry all my crap is worth it. It is my fave!

That Chloe is Beyond! But I have been loving the Marc Jacobs for a while. Kinda digging the Alexander Wang because it’s edgy. Just need to go knockoff a bag store, then you’ll have options.
I want/need a new bag period. It was all I wanted for Christmas actually, but TH said I needed the iPad instead. I won’t argue.
I may buy cheaper clothes but I have invested in a few good handbags. Cost per wear is how I justify it.
