True love
Completely smitten with these art + console compositions:

[ paired up and flanking a mirror in a weightless room ]

[ perfect pop of color off a high-gloss wall ]

[ light pink lightens up a dramatic backdrop ]

[ the table speaks for itself...and the parrot mimics its chicness ]

[ grafitti-like art roughens up high shine ]
Do we sometimes place a console for the sake of the art?

I JUST painted an old console table from my in-laws this weekend. I have a gallery wall above it currently, but I told my husband last night that I want a big, original painting to go above it. He gave me that “this is going to be expensive” look. Oh, and I painted it a coral pink/salmon color.
I just painted a canvas salmon pink too! I was going to do something completely different on it but now I am really considering the gold…it’s just really pretty.
I get that look on a daily basis. ;o)
Wow the light pink against the black is simply stunning! Doesn’t hurt that there is a bit of gold in there too
great picks! i have loved that 2nd shot since the moment i first saw it. loving the simpler palettes, too!
Girl – you always find the best images! Love this post. Everything in my life, not just consoles, are positioned around the art… hahah

Clearly I am finding them on all of YOUR blogs out there!! You are all such an inspiration to me.
The mirror/console combination in the first pic is stunning! I have yet to bring a console into my tiny home but I change up the art over my bar cart on a regular basis.
I know, that top pic is fantastic. It has that feeling I would love someday: hip, contemporary, clean, a little tropical ;o) and a little color.
I can’t decide which is my favorite, they’re all so gorgeous! And I agree with Elizabeth, you find the BEST stuff!
I’m pretty much in love with this post. It’s amazing how a cool console and art can really make a statement!
